Graco Inc. (NYSE:GGG) is a leading manufacturer of fluid handling equipment. Recently, the company announced that it has acquired Machine Technologies LLC. Machine Technologies is a Texas-based manufacturer of both mortar pumps and continuous mixers. After Graco acquires Machine Technologies, Machine Technoligies’ products will then become part of the product portfolio of Graco’s Applied Fluid Technologies Division (AFTD).
“The acquisition aligns with our strategies to deliver leading technologies and expand our worldwide business,” said Graco AFTD Director of Sales and Marketing Tim White. “Machine Technologies’ products are rugged, durable and well respected in the mortar arena. This is an exciting opportunity for Graco as we continue to expand our capabilities in the construction industry.”
Contractors use Machine Technologies’ pumps and mixers for concrete restoration projects. They also use them for self-leveling underlayments, fireproofing and grouting applications. Additionally, they are good for Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) installations. There was no disclosure of the financial terms of the transaction.
