Registration is Open for Annual Cast-in-Place Convention

The Concrete Foundations Association (CFA) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 CFA Concrete Foundations Convention (CFACON25), the largest annual gathering for the cast-in-place concrete industry, taking place July 17-19, 2025, in historic Deadwood, South Dakota.

This year’s convention marks the 50th anniversary of the CFA and will include an anniversary celebration in addition to education sessions, networking opportunities and musician/business mogul Sandy Gennaro as the keynote speaker. The convention showcases three days of collaboration, knowledge-sharing and celebration.

Event Schedule:

July 17, 2025 (Day 1): Exhibits and opening social
CFACON25 officially begins its 50th-anniversary celebration with a packed evening featuring a happy hour in the exhibit hall and a dinner and awards banquet honoring five decades of achievements and this year’s Projects of the Year and Professional awards. Earlier in the day, key meetings, including the Board of Directors, National Associates’ Council and a certification session will set the stage for the year to come.

July 18, 2025 (Day 2): Education, exhibits and evening social
Day two launches the educational program with a keynote address and sessions on construction, business, and leadership by speakers Amy Woodall, Patrick Shurney, Tim Neubauer and David Clewley. Attendees will explore cutting-edge technologies during exhibit hall hours and engage in roundtables and one-on-one speed networking. The day closes with another happy hour and a lively evening social event.

July 19, 2025 (Day 3): Education and closing social
The final day features presentations on economics by Roger Tutterow, innovation and industry topics and the powerful keynote address from Sandy Gennaro. A roundtable lunch promotes valuable discussions, while the afternoon allows for relaxed activities like a golf tournament or free time. The event concludes with a group dinner, a final social gathering and a celebration to commemorate the 50th-anniversary milestone.

“Of all the Conventions I have had the privilege to design and host, CFACON25 is the one I am anticipating the most,” shared James Baty, CFA Executive Director. “This year, celebrating 50 years of the vision, passion, poise and persistence, I can’t wait for our attendees and exhibitors alike to partake of the majesty of the Black Hills and the mastery of our speakers. This will be one of the most uplifting and engaging Conventions in the Association’s rich history.”

Early online registration is now open, and CFA members can register at discounted rates.
