A unique feature of this one-handed recip saw is that it can accept reciprocating saw blades as expected, but also t-shank jig saw blades! This adds convenience and versatility for more detailed cuts like cutting arches in plywood or cutting a 1-1/2” hole in a cavity that is only 6” wide between studs. The slim profile of this saw means you can use it in areas where other tools just will not fit. Its center-balanced design makes one-handed use easy with less fatigue even when you switch from an 18V battery to the more powerful MultiVolt battery.

The CJ18DAQ4 18V MultiVolt Jig Saw also accepts both 18V batteries and MultiVolt batteries from Metabo HPT for up to 8 Amp hours* of runtime per charge! This cordless tool is ideal for those times when you need an easy-to-use jig saw for precision work. It produces 2,500 strokes per minute with a 1-1/32” stroke length to do the job faster. The 4 speed settings allow the user to select the best speed depending on the wood he is cutting. Three orbital action modes make a noticeable difference in how fast you can cut. One end user said, “cutting through walnut proved no problem.”
For more precision and control, a straight cut mode is ideal especially when cutting angles and details. Plus, the quick brake function stops the blade faster to increase safety and reduce delay for the user. An included splinter guard is effective to improve the quality of the edges and you can easily remove it when not needed.
