AmeriPolish has introduced AmeriPolish 3-D Multiple Level Densifier, an improved densifier designed to bring out the inherent beauty in polished natural concrete. 3-D Multiple Level Densifier is formulated with three silicates to densify intensely at the surface, while still penetrating deeper into the slab and reacting below the surface. It also heightens the visual contrast of the concrete components, and helps develop a deep gloss in polishing.
The 3-D liquid exhibits a lot of body, dwelling on the surface to enhance the densifying reaction of the very topmost layer of the slab. It tends to darken the color of the concrete matrix slightly, adding a richness to the polished look. Light-colored aggregate, if exposed, will show up better.
The hardened surface takes a better polish, and slabs treated with 3-D have shown a deep, marble-like gloss. It improves both stain resistance and scratch resistance, reduces abrasion patterns, and minimizes dusting.
You can also use 3-D on dyed concrete floors. In fact, it acts to lock in dyes, which may extend the life of the color application. It will slightly darken dyed colors, as well. It may be useful on exceptionally soft slabs, to help hold the dye near the surface and accept the color properly.
