CenterPoint Properties appoints a new VP. Rives Nolen has been appointed to Senior Vice President of Investments. Nolen is based in CenterPoint Properties’ Houston office and leads its central region acquisitions and dispositions.
“Rives has a solid understanding of the inner workings of industrial investors like CenterPoint Properties. His substantial transactional background and strong Houston market knowledge will be invaluable to us as we continue our momentum there,” said Jim Clewlow, Chief Investment Officer at CenterPoint Properties.
Before coming to CenterPoint Properties, Nolen spent nearly two decades at InSite Realty Partners. Most recently, Nolen was InSite’s Senior Vice President, Development & Leasing. During his time here, his focus was on industrial development, build-to-suit developments and leasing. He is a Developer Associate Member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). He also serves on National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ (NAIOP) Development and Construction Committee.

Nolen earned an MBA from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University in Houston, Texas. In addition, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
