Seal-Krete is introducing three new products: Epoxy-Shell WB250, Surface-Shell HP, and Graffiti-Shell WB.
Epoxy-Shell WB250, currently available to order, is a two-part, premium water-based epoxy coating with solvent-based performance characteristics. This high-gloss coating provides excellent adhesion, film hardness, and chemical and abrasion resistance. It is highly breathable and reduces blistering and peeling. In addition, it is the economical choice as a primer for the Seal-Krete decorative metallic system. Epoxy-Shell WB250 is recommended for vertical and horizontal applications in such areas as refineries, clean rooms, and chemical processing facilities.
Surface-Shell HP, available spring 2014, is a three-component polyurethane-modified concrete overlay that can be applied to floors that require resistance to impact and thermal shock. This product exceeds the typical performance of epoxy overlays and resists chemicals, acids, alkalis and salts. Surface Shell HP has a slip-resistant finish and is impervious to freeze-thaw cycles. With these features, it is ideal for use in commercial environments such as meat, poultry and dairy plants, freezers and refrigerated storage areas, and bottling and pharmaceutical plants.
Graffiti-Shell WB, available spring 2014, is a two-component water-based urethane coating that can be applied to concrete, brick and stucco surfaces to make them resistant to permanent damage from graffiti. The coating also provides superior resistance to water exposure, solvents, chemicals, UV rays and extreme weather. Graffiti-Shell WB is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
