Benefits of brushless motor technology
With Brushless motor technology, the DH36DPA Rotary Hammer delivers high impact energy (2.2 ft-lbs) and fast drilling speeds (1,100 RPM/4,300 BPM) for demolition applications. With 3 modes, drilling, hammering & hammer drilling, a responsive variable speed trigger and weighing only 7-lbs, it’s easy to use in overhead applications or for all-day use. It accepts SDS Plus bit shanks. It also has a 1-1/8” capacity in concrete, 1⁄2” capacity in steel and 1-1/4” capacity in wood. The ergonomic design of the handle grip being in alignment with the drill bit head makes it easier to apply drilling force. Changing bits is fast and easy with a one push bit mounting system.
The on-tool LED light is convenient when working in dark spaces. Users can work safely if the tool bit is suddenly overburdened during operation. This is because the Reactive Force Control (RFC) automatically engages and stops the motor before the entire tool jerks. For a cleaner and safer work environment, a cordless dust extraction attachment for this tool is sold separately (part # 402976M). Or the rotary hammer can connect to a vacuum or dust extractor using the optional accessories (115451M or 308776).
