Application documents for Bauma Conexpo India are available now for download. The construction machinery sector in India is cautiously optimistic: Many infrastructure projects are to be completed in the coming years, and in the medium term the market is expected to regain the level of 2012. This all points to excellent prospects for the participants in the upcoming edition of Bauma Conexpo India.
The fourth international trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles takes place from December 12 to 15, 2016 at the HUDA Ground in Gurgaon/Delhi.
In its recently published report entitled “Rebooting Indian Infrastructure – Indian Construction Equipment Industry Vision 2020”, the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (iCEMA) presents a cautiously optimistic picture: India is still regarded as a growth market, the government is holding out the prospect of many new projects, and for the medium term the completion of a whole range of infrastructure measures is on the agenda.
Igor Palka, CEO of bC Expo India, the company in charge of organizing Bauma Conexpo India, sees good opportunities for the Indian market: “In India many planned projects stalled in the past, and some of them are now being driven forward again. For the construction machinery sector, for example, 11.8 percent growth is expected by the year 2020, to more than 80,000 units.
That isn’t a dramatic rise, but it is nevertheless a very respectable outlook.” And this is a trend that will most certainly be continued at the next Bauma Conexpo India in December.
The priority deadline for exhibitors is April 11, 2016.
On the Indian market, Bauma Conexpo India enjoys high regard, and that has been underlined recently in its performance at the Exhibition Showcase Excellence Awards in January in Greater Noida. The aim of these awards is to highlight and honor the efforts of the organizers of trade fairs. Bauma Conexpo India received an award in the category “Top Global Dominance”, which rates in particular the international scope among the exhibitors. This international character will once again be reflected in the participation figures for 2016: Already the following countries have announced they will be organizing pavilions for their exhibitors: China, Finland, Germany, Italy, North and South America and the UK.
