Halco Lighting Technologies’ new line of electronic HID (eHID) ballasts delivers cutting edge ceramic discharge metal halide performance
These ballasts are microprocessor-controlled and provide superior light quality and versatility. Halco eHID ballasts paired with ceramic discharge metal halide lamps provide high efficacy and long life. Increased efficacy lowers power consumption while maintaining light levels, resulting in energy savings. Longer lamp life reduces costs associated with frequent lamp replacement.
In addition, Halco eHID ballasts also offer protection against no-lamp and end of life operation. Continuous striking without a lamp, or with a failed lamp present, could damage circuits; Halco eHID ballasts protect against these scenarios. Additional protection is provided through integrated thermal and over-voltage circuits designed to shut down the ballast if operating conditions exceed those specified for use.
Featuring either bottom or side lead exits and mounts, Halco eHID ballasts are available in wattages of 20W, 35/39W and 70W. They are compatible with both 120 and 277 input voltages and have a 3-year warranty.
