WerkMaster has announced Home Depot Tool Rental Canada is now offering WerkMaster polishing and grinding machines in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. Expansion into additional provinces is planned for 2014. Each store offers the Scarab, Termite XT and Viper XT model of WerkMaster’s brands of floor prep machines.
WerkMaster machines can be used for removing glue, mastic, paint, epoxy and thin-set, as well as polishing concrete, stone and terrazzo floors. Additionally, they can profile or flatten raised aggregate decks and patios. Every WerkMaster model is billed as being seven machines in one: grinder, edger, polisher, sander, buffer, burnisher and stripper. All models can edge to within 1/8 inch of a wall, while the Scarab is designed to edge right to the wall and can be used on countertops, stairs and hard-to-reach areas.
