This troweling aid is designed for efficient concrete finishing. Utilizing colloidal silica, it facilitates easier and faster finishing while improving the concrete’s durability, and compressive strength, and reduces permeability.

IntraFilm Primary Uses
- Finishing Aid – Designed for areas with high evaporation rate conditions due to factors such as high temperatures, wind, direct sun, or low humidity.
- Hardener & Densifier – Creates a denser, less-permeable concrete surface that is more resistant to liquid penetration.
- Type 1L Cements – Facilitates easier finishing with silica fume, Portland Limestone, or Type 1L cement and air-entrained concrete mixes.
- Concrete Curing – Retains moisture in the slab during curing and reduces water vapor transmission.
- Efflorescence – Decreases potential for alkali silica reaction. Ideal for both colored and decorative concrete applications.
- Curling Reduction – Reduces the potential for slab curling.
Common IntraFilm Application
IntraFilm is designed for use during the floating and troweling stages of concrete placement.
IntraFilm is available in a ready-to-use (RTU) formula and a concentrate to be diluted with water. Contents should be stirred or shaken vigorously prior to use to eliminate any settling that may occur upon storage or shipping.
The concentrate version should be diluted by mixing 1-part concentrate to 4-parts clean, potable water and stir or shake until mixture is uniform. Then pour IntraFilm directly into sprayer.
Use a clean, hand-pump tank-type sprayer with a low-pressure tip to distribute the product evenly.
Lightly mist IntraFilm over the entire surface to be treated. Immediately follow with screeding, floating, troweling, or other finishing procedures.
IntraFilm can also be applied through the water tanks on a ride-on trowel.
Re-apply IntraFilm to any localized areas where the concrete has begun to prematurely dry.
Can be applied both before and after dry shake hardeners to allow surface moisture time to wet-out the dry-shake.
