Industrial Caulk and Seal embarks on huge remodel

Industrial Caulk and Seal prison remodelOn May 9, 2016, Industrial Caulk and Seal began Phase 1 for Southway Builders and the Alexander Company on the Laurel Hill Adaptive Reuse project in Lorton, Virginia.

Having an estimated cost of more than $180 million, the Laurel Hill project comprises a full renovation of the abandoned Lorton Prison facility on the outskirts of Washington, DC. The transformed Laurel Hill stands to be the benchmark in historic redevelopment boasting apartments, townhomes, condos, and office and retail space.

Industrial Caulk and Seal’s scope of work includes an ongoing list of concrete repairs throughout the facility, as well as, a full architectural grind and polish to both existing and new concrete.
