iQ Power Tools, manufacturer of premium power tools with integrated dust collection systems, announces new upgrades to its already innovative “Dry-Cut Power Cutter” designed for the concrete and masonry industry.
The iQPC912VSK®, the world’s first dry-cut power cutters with integrated dust control, captures up to 90% of the dust right at the source… making for a cleaner, safer and more efficient jobsite. “This saw is truly game-changing for construction professionals; not only eliminating dust and slurry, but for saving time and money with its quick change options,” stated Sarah Hurtado, iQ’s Marketing Communications Manager. “This saw can go from “V” to “SK” in under five minutes. The interchangeable attachments make it ideal; one tool – two applications.”
The dust guard attachment is for cutting pieces of material, such as concrete, masonry and precast materials. The paver skate attachment is for cutting horizontal surfaces such as asphalt, installed pavers,and flat concrete.
Designed and built in the USA, the OSHA-compliant iQPC912VSK® features a 93cc gas-powered, 6-hp, 2-stroke motor and comes equipped with a 12” premium diamond blade. The power cutter weighs only 34 pounds, making it ergonomically balanced. The integrated, powerful vacuum sucks the dust through the retractable blade guard. Using the iQ QUICK-SPIN™ filtration system, the dust is captured in the cartridge filter and then self-contained in the lower chamber for easy disposal. This dust containment has a capacity of up to 5 pounds.
