Moxie International a leader in Vapor Proofing and Sealing of concrete for the building industry is proud to announce the hiring of Rick Iorillo as the company’s new CFO. Rick has been a long time executive in the Silicon Valley moving to the Bay Area in 1982 and working as the controller to firms such as Contract Office Group, Van Vleck Realtors and Success Technology.
In the early 90’s his career took a turn to computers and also took him to Asia and the Middle East for technology exchanges that included the first handheld devices from Palm and Handspring. As the technology became smarter and smaller Rick became involved with a small start up in Tel Aviv, Israel named M-Systems and went on to co invent the DiskOnChip the first solid state flash drive. This product was then expanded to the Flash / Mobile drive once Flash Memory became available in higher capacities and USB became a standard on all notebook computers.
As time went on Rick was involved with additional technologies such as Zigbee, Embedded BlueCat Linux and a host of software solutions that revolutionize the computer industry. When considering for the position Rick asked long time Pres and CEO Turia Davis to explain to him the excitement surrounding the Moxie product line. Ms. Davis simply stated Moxie International has a product that has stood the test of time and in the building industry this one statement says it all.
Ms. Davis also went on to say that Rick brings a host of skills to Moxie with not only his knowledge of Finance but also his 20 years of Sales and Marketing experience that will help grow Moxie to a ever greater international player. Ms Davis also went on to say it makes no difference who wins the Presidency because the rebuilding of our roads and bridges is still a major concern for whoever sits in the oval office. Moxie plans to be in as many state and federal projects scheduled to fix the fail bridge decks and highways throughout the U.S. and abroad.
