Makita U.S.A., Inc., the innovation leader in power tools and accessories, has launched two new 1-3/16” Rotary Hammers with an L-shape design for increased accuracy. The HM3001CK Makita Rotary Hammer and HM3011FCK Makita Rotary Hammer are ideal solutions for a range of applications including concrete forming, hanging pipe with threaded rod, fastening conduit, mounting air ducts, and more.
These rotary hammers offer performance and ergonomics to concrete formers, plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, iron workers, general contractors and many others. Both rotary hammers accept SDS-PLUS bits. They also work on common anchor types such as screw anchors, drop-in anchors, and expansion anchors. They offer three modes of operation: “Rotation Only”, “Hammering with Rotation” or also “Hammering Only”. During hammer-only applications, multiple bit angle settings allow the bit to be set at different positions for optimum performance.
1-3/16” Rotary Hammer (HR3001CK)
The HR3001CK features Constant Speed Control, which automatically applies additional power to the motor to maintain speed under load. For increased comfort, the rotary hammer has a vibration-absorbing back handle with rubberized soft-grip. The variable speed trigger allows the user to match speed to the application and is large for multi-f inger control. Dust extraction can be achieved with the optional Makita Dust Attachment (195173-3, sold separately) and a dust extractor. For OSHA Table 1 Complaint dust extraction, pair the dust attachment with extractors that have a filter cleaning mechanism such as VC4210L or XCV13(sold separately).
1-3/16” AVT Rotary Hammer (HR3011FCK)
The HR3011FCK features Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT), an internal counterbalance system for reduced vibration. With an on-board dust extractor attachment (DX10, sold separately), this The HM3001CK(top) and HM3011FCK(bottom) are accept SDS-PLUS bits for a wide range of applications. rotary hammer becomes OSHA Table 1 Compliant. The rotary hammer also features Constant Speed Control, a variable speed trigger and also a built-in L.E.D. light.
