The International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), the only association in the concrete industry devoted solely to repair and restoration, recently announced the winners of its first 40 Under 40 Award. Western Specialty Contractors is proud to announce that Minneapolis Assistant Branch Manager David Grandbois, 31, was among the announced winners.
“During the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, the Tapcon masonry screw was initially introduced to tap threads into concrete,” stated Bob Carlisle, President and founder of Concrete Fastening Systems, Incorporated. “The combination of the screw’s capacity to have threads hard enough to cut into concrete and to also remove the dust created during the application created an innovative design that revolutionized the concrete fastening business.”
Nox-Crete, Inc. is welcoming a new team member who is a familiar face among the customers in the territory he’ll be representing. Industry alum Jeter "Jey" Yates started his role as Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Nox-Crete earlier this month where he represented Nox-Crete at the 2020 World of Concrete in Las Vegas.
