Rheology modifier improves paints

Rohm and Haas Co. has announced the launch of a new KUbuilding rheology modifier based on new technology developed by the company. Acrysol RM-895 is a solvent-free, nonionic, HEUR rheology modifier that provides outstanding viscosity stability upon colorant addition with dramatically improved sag resistance and no loss of flow or leveling.

RM-895 is highly efficient and exhibits enhanced viscosity stability when compared to existing HEUR thickeners. It provides formulators with excellent sag resistance in tinted paints as well as excellent flow and leveling. Interior and exterior paints containing Acrysol RM-895 rheology modifier can claim uniform film formation and excellent gloss development.
