Rhino Linings Corp., a global leader in the protective coatings and linings industry, has acquired Advanced Coating Solutions and Expo Industries Inc.
Advanced Coating Solutions developed and manufactured waterborne, compliant coatings including epoxies, urethanes, stains, sealers and topcoats. Rhino Linings will continue producing Advanced Coating Solutions’ current commercial products, which include water-based polyurethanes, acrylic coatings and water-based acrylic emulsion coatings. As a result of Rhino’s streamlined manufacturing process, scale of production, warehouse and logistics network, these products will be more price competitive in the market.
Expo Industries Inc. manufactured the Expo Stucco interior and exterior stucco products, sealers, bonders, patch products and plaster mixes. Since it was founded 84 years ago, Expo Stucco has become a leader in the building industry with well-known products such as GX2 Premium Exterior Stucco and MX3 Scratch and Brown plaster mix. These products have been used in everything from large public structures to commercial developments and homes. This acquisition expands Rhino Linings line of building products, which already include waterproofing products, spray polyurethane foam insulation, decorative concrete and epoxy flooring systems.
