AMT Enterprises LLC has launched the ScreedJoint, a rigid plastic control joint for concrete flatwork. It’s comprised of outdoor-grade PVC and comes in a variety of colors to complement any decorative project. During the forming stages of concrete, the ScreedJoint is set in place, where it remains during and after concrete placement.
It can be used with a trowel finish, exposed aggregate, texturing, stamping, a broom finish and more. ScreedJoint eliminates the need for saw-cut joints after pouring. The top of the joint is set to the level of the finished grade. The exposed surface of the joint is the same width as most saw cuts and reduces the amount of water penetration under the slab.
