Del Mar, CA August 15, 2017 — The Decorative Surface Solutions Group (DSSG) held their annual Summer Summit in beautiful Del Mar, CA the end of July. Over 60 executives from member companies and suppliers attended the event which featured one-on-one meetings, key note presentations, and world class receptions. Members and suppliers from across the country gave rave reviews of the progress this group of “best in class” contractors and suppliers have made in 24 months.
DSSG members are contractors focused on the rapidly expanding architectural concrete market and decorative flooring solutions including polished concrete, concrete topping slabs, terrazzo, epoxies, and other traditional flooring choices. “Our Summer Summit was our biggest event yet and a great forum for our members and suppliers to forge key partnerships for years to come” said DSSG Co-Founder Jonathan Vasquez of Bay Area Concretes. Our focus on helping members accelerate their growth and profit in this market is really beginning to resonate with the top-tier companies.”

It wasn’t all work, as DSSG members and suppliers enjoyed seaside receptions, poolside dinners, outstanding recreational activities and even some time at the famous Del Mar Racetrack. “The opportunity to connect socially with customers was truly the next step for the business relationship for us with many of the attendees,” said David Lepird, VP of Sales Schonox/ HPS Subfloors.
