Vacuworx recently announced that Bruce Williamson has been hired as Regional Sales Manager, Southeast. He will serve the territory of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Williamson is a creative problem solver who prioritizes communication and follow-through as keys to building successful customer relationships. Williamson will be based in Panama City Beach, Florida. His responsibilities will include maintaining a superior level of customer satisfaction in relation to the sale, rental and service of Vacuworx lifting systems for all lines of pipe handling and construction-related equipment.
With prior professional experiences that include work in both the private and pubic sectors, Williamson’s career path reflects a progression of responsibility combined with an array of transferable skills allowing for growth at various occupational levels. His primary focus at Vacuworx is on meeting the diversified material lifting equipment needs of authorized distributors and valued end users in the Southeast United States.
“My goal is to get out and establish relationships and continue the conversation. This will come in presenting the Vacuworx value as we go,” Williamson said.
Williamson has lived all over the world as part of his upbringing in a military family. He attended high school in Bangkok, Thailand. Growing up, his family called Boerne, Texas home. Business educated, with a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Oklahoma State University, he also spent five years sharpening his mechanical abilities on a locally owned and operated family farm in Pawnee, Oklahoma.
Williamson’s spare time is typically consumed by water-related activities such as snorkeling, sailing and fishing. He and his wife, an educator, recently relocated to Panama City from Stillwater, Oklahoma. They had resided there for more than 22 years. They have two adult daughters and also a dog named Nugget.
