Western Specialty Contractors expanded the territory of Region Manager Jim Rechtin, Jr. to include its St. Louis Roofing, Kansas City and new Kansas City Roofing branches.
Additionally, Rechtin will continue to oversee Western’s St. Louis Concrete Restoration, Peoria and Springfield, Illinois branches. Rechtin’s territory will no longer include Western’s Chicago Concrete Restoration and Chicago Facade Restoration branches.
Rechtin began his career with Western in 1994 as a union laborer in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, working for the St. Louis Concrete Restoration branch. After working as a Journeyman for nearly three years, he was promoted to Laborer Foreman, then to Project Superintendent where was responsible for scheduling projects and workers, ordering materials and overseeing jobsite safety. In 2003, Rechtin was promoted to Sales/Project Manager where he was responsible for marketing, sales and project management. Five years later, he was promoted to Branch Manager of the Springfield, Illinois office where he and his family were relocated.
In 2012, Rechtin was promoted to Region Manager and became responsible for overseeing the St. Louis Concrete Restoration and Peoria and Chicago, IL branches, while maintaining the interim branch manager position in the Springfield, IL office. In 2015, Rechtin and his family moved back to St. Louis, MO.
