While other rectangular and circular sanders have limitations, the triangular Wooster AeroSander is able to cover large areas and reach into corners with complete control. The new AeroSander 220-grit sandpaper 6-pack is the latest item to join The Wooster Brush Co.’s line of professional surface prep tools.
AeroSander sandpaper achieves 30 percent faster results and has improved clog-resistance. The new 220 grit 6-pack has extra fine grains for sanding between coats or final surface sanding prior to painting. The two previously available choices are coarse-grained 80-grit and fine-grained 120-grit sandpaper 6-packs. All AeroSander items utilize a strong, Velcro hook-and-loop fastener system; this prevents the paper from tearing and curling and allows for quick changes.
Its stable 360-degree pivot joint enables the AeroSander to maintain full surface contact without catching, gouging or rolling over. The sturdy, fiberglass-reinforced nylon base weighs less than metal sanding tools, reducing fatigue. It performs exceptionally well with no-twist Wooster Sherlock GT Convertible poles, but is compatible with all threaded extension handles as well.
When sanding is complete, the Wooster AeroDuster can be used (in conjunction with the AeroSander base) to clean the surface in preparation for paint. Its specially treated yarn captures dust, cobwebs, pet hair and fine particles–without requiring wetting or washing.
