How strong (in compression or psi) does concrete have to be to take a polish without densifier? Getting an answer for this one was pretty straightforward — 5,000 psi to 6,000 psi, depending on the aggregate.

How to Evaluate a Floor Before a Polished Concrete Bid
There are ways to evaluate a floor for polishing before quoting it. You will need to develop benchmarks (on test floors you’re currently polishing) before you can accurately predict how a future floor will polish and what densifier to use on the floor.
