Park City, Utah, is a nationally celebrated ski town, home to the annual Sundance Film Festival, and one of those small Western resort communities where only the best will do. So naturally, the town’s new Great Harvest Bread Co. is going to boast the finest fixtures available to a franchise.
This includes decorative concrete, of course. Jeff Mead, of Ogden, Utah-based JC Decorative Concrete, installed 1,900 square feet of acid-stained flooring and 65 square feet of countertops for Joe and Lisa Rich, owners of the bakery.
Mead used Concrete Coatings Inc.’s Vivid Acid Stain and SuperSeal 2000 on the project, plus Buddy Rhodes concrete counter mix for the tops. A Concrete Coatings press release supplies more information:
“In keeping true to the Park City motif, the new bakery is decorated in earth tones and alpine design. Decor includes hardwood foyer floors, brick and stone facades, acid-stained floors and concrete countertops.
“The couple who owns the store was so impressed that they recommended both Jeff’s work and the products used to their fellow franchisees looking to expand the Great Harvest Bread Co. brand. Because of decorative concrete’s versatility, Jeff Mead’s workmanship and the quality of Concrete Coatings Inc.’s and Buddy Rhodes’ products, Great Harvest Bread Co. will be able to create a look that can be transferred easily to other franchisees in areas around the country, or personalized to meet area ordinances and building restrictions.”
