Is there value in having a dedicated trade show for the decorative concrete industry? The short answer is yes. There’s tremendous value in having an industry-focused show. While there are decorative-devoted pavilions at other shows, they are just that — areas within other events.
The American Concrete Institute announces the launch of its Post-Installed Concrete Anchor Installation Inspector certification program. ACI will use the program to certify individuals who have demonstrated the knowledge required to properly inspect the installation of post-installed adhesive and mechanical anchors in concrete.

What are we doing as an industry to positively influence the decorative market? What are you doing as a contractor, material supplier or manufacturer to help grow the pie?
Growth, increased profits, value and quality are a few words I hear thrown around in the decorative concrete industry these days. It seems, and rightly so, many want to grow their business and increase their value and sustainability in the marketplace by providing quality work.
Is training still relevant in the decorative concrete industry? Has the industry reached the maturity stage in its life cycle which directly impacts the desire or need to be trained? Or are we on a plateau, about to witness yet another surge of growth with new technologies and methods?
